Not only is it internally rewarding when you workout regularly and eat healthier, but now it's financially rewarding as well! After trying to keep up with my daily calories and workouts, I decided to search for smartphone apps that help with this. The following apps are free to download and will help you get fit while also getting paid!
The first app you need is the Achievement app. You can download it here (http://tinyurl.com/y8mmfdf4) for bonus points! This app tracks your health and activity and actually PAYS you based on how much you do. After you reach the point goal, you get to cash out $10. I get points everyday based on the steps I take, my Apple Watch measuring my heart beat, and logging what I eat. All you need to do is download Achievement, connect your Apple Watch or FitBit to the app, and connect all your other health apps such as "MyFitnessPal." You can leave this app on your phone without ever checking on it and let it build up without you even noticing. If you want to earn points even faster, they do have daily health surveys you can take.
Another app that I downloaded is the "MyFitnessPal" app to keep up with how many carbs and calories I've been eating. After you eat a meal, you can add the items you ate to your daily food journal. At the end of the day, it tells you what goals you met and what you need to cut back on. I am honestly more motivated to eat fruit than chips because I don't like logging chips on my health app! This actually works if you stick with it.
