It's taken so much trial and error to find out what works on my hair and what doesn't. I've tried more shampoos and leave-in conditioners than I could even count. It's so important to find products that are gentle on color treated hair so it stays healthy! (If this isn't an issue for you, consider yourself lucky!) I've put together this list of products that I actually love and swear by so that (hopefully) you can try something new at a decent price.
I was recently introduced to this awesome shampoo by my hairdresser at Infinity Hair (thanks Kylie!). It's called "Fast Food," but don't let the name fool you. It's SO good for your hair. This shampoo is sulfate free and can be found on the link below.
This is the matching leave-in conditioner to the Fast Food shampoo. Every time I use leave-in product I have to really use a lot since I have thick hair. It amazes me how little of this it takes to detangle my hair. I use about a dime sized amount, and it works perfectly. I've really noticed a difference in my hair and how much longer I can go in between washes. You can find it in the link below or at any Ulta store!
Another suggestion from Kylie is this Wet Brush Pro! It's the best brush I've ever owned. I don't even feel the tangles. Seriously, treat yourself to a new brush that is awesome and under $8.
This one's for all the blondes that need help finding a purple shampoo to balance out the brassy color we all hate. I've tried several purple shampoos throughout the past couple of years and this has become my FAVORITE! You can get it super cheap right now on Amazon. I leave this on for about 10 minutes once a week.
This is the matching conditioner with the Joico Purple shampoo. This makes my hair SO soft! I don't even need to use a leave-in conditioner after this, it works so well! It's usually over $17, but you can get it now for $9.99 at this link.
My last product is this leave-in conditioner. I received this in an Ipsy bag once, and I fell in love! I ended up buying the full size from Sephora. It smells amazing, and it makes your hair so smooth without feeling greasy. This one is more on the expensive side, but it's so worth it.
